How hard to change themes to premium?

  1. I have about 6 or 7 blog posts and am considering changing themes to a premium theme; how hard is it to do, and will it change/or mess up my current blog posts.

Another questions; is it possible to add the "more" tag after a post has been published (currently in blogum theme) ?

The blog I need help with is pubgraphics.wordpress.com.

  2. is it possible to add the "more" tag after a post has been published (currently in blogum theme) ?

Yes. It's not theme dependent. See > the more tag

No content is ever lost when one chnages themes. At most we may have to resize some images and/or we may have to go here > Apearance > Widgets and drag some widgets we used previously out of the Inactive Widgets box and place them in sidebar or footer locations, click each one to open it, click "save" and then click "close".

  3. Thank you for your quick reply! just to clarify, I can add the More tag even after publishing?

So after I activate a new theme, I go to each individual post and click open and then save each one?? Or does it activate and make the changes to the posts automatically?

Also, (sorry) I am looking for a theme w/ a few more bells and whistles, but not a full blown website type of theme. Keeping everything simple, I'm currently in blogum, but would like a bit more customization ability. Again Simple is keyword.

  4. I can add the More tag even after publishing?

Yes, you can edit any post or page an insert the more tag at any time.

  5. So after I activate a new theme, I go to each individual post and click open and then save each one?? Or does it activate and make the changes to the posts automatically?

You are confusing two things here. You can go right now to your blog and edit the posts and insert "the more tag".

I'm flagging this thread so Themes Staff can answer any remaining questions you have.
