   Hi, and sorry for my english.

   I have a wordpress blog hosted in wwww.wordpress.com.
   my question is:

   how i can save my blog and transfert it into a ftp server ?

   (1) Hire a web host
   (2) Upload free software and blog template from wordpress.org
   (3) Upload plugins form wordpress.org
   (4) Export your wordpress.com blog contents out into an xml file
   (5) Export your links out
   (6) Import both the xml file with your posts, comments, custom fields, and categories in it and the opml file with your links in it into the wordpress.org template

   This is actually a very easy process; did it myself yesterday.

   Cheap hosting can be had from http://www.asmallorange.com (thanks to Timethief for the tip) and using their cPanel link you can install the WordPress.org software in about three clicks.

   Of course, you start again as far as traffic, search engines, etc are concerned, but you do get the advantage of complete control over the way your blog looks, what you can do with it (javascript, Google Adsense, etc).
