How move MAMP WordPress from my computer to a host

    Hi all,

    I'm a WordPress novice and would like some guidance. I have developed a site on my Mac using MAMP and would like to know how I go about moving it, database and all, to a hosting plan, be it with WordPress or another service. I have bought the domain name and would like to use that as the URL for the site. Any pointers much appreciated. Thanks.
