How to a put a logo where the site title is?

  1. Hi All,
    I need some help. I'd like to put my new logo in place of the text at the top of the blog. Does anybody know how to do this with CSS? I am a newbie to CSS. I found some CSS while I was searching through posts but this does not work. To be clear, I want to keep the photo of the bridge and just replace the site title that says "Made In USA" at the top. Here is the CSS I tried using...

    #logo h1 a {
    display: block;
    width: 770px;
    height: 150px;
    background: url('http://usamade.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/made-in-usa-logo-header-770x150.png') no-repeat -20px;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    }

    #header {
    padding-bottom: 0;
    }

    Thank you!

    The blog I need help with is madeinusa.la.

  2. There is no blogger initiated advertising allowed on free hosted WordPress.com blogs and everyone of your posts is an advertisement.

    I think you need to read what I post and the information at the links I provide below first. Then I suggest you request a refund for the upgrade, hire a web host and set up a WordPress.com install.

    There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds http://www.wordads.co/ no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. Paid content and/or sponsored content is not allowed.

    On free hosted WordPress.com blog we can use a contact form and/or a PayPal donation button for sale of only products or services created or provided by ourselves.

    There is no upgrade you can purchase from WordPress.com that changes any of that. If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising, affiliate links, paid or sponsored content you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org
    Refer to > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

  3. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refunds

    Note: It takes from 1 - 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

  4. Amazon affiliate links are allowed and by no means are all my links advertisements, totally wrong.

  5. Hi! I just checked http://madeinusa.la/ and it isn't hosted here at WordPress.com right now. It also looks like you were able to get the header issue you mentioned sorted out. Well done! I'm going to close this thread since your issue looks resolved.
