    Hello,
I was trying to add the "I like" button on my wordpress blog.
I guess I should do it through a text widget...
Till now it only lets me add a badge.. but not the Like button..

Can you help me? Thank you!

The blog I need help with is comunicazionemultimedia.wordpress.com.

Hello and thank you for your support.
I already added those useful features.

But, what I really would like is an "I like" button in my sidebar, this way, people who click on that button become fan of my page, without visiting the page on Facebook..

  4. I am ware of what you want. You cannot use any widget that contains Javascript on a wordpress.com blog. So that means you cannot use the widget supplied by Facebook. The software here will strip the code out.

So what you do is create a draft post you will later delete. Capture a Facebook image and upload it into your draft post and link it to your Facebook page. Once you have it appearing in the draft post exactly as you wish it to appear you switch to the HTML editor and copy the code into a text widget and place that text widget in your sidebar. Then you can delete the draft post.

Well, it's kind of possible if you can live with the fact that the best you can do is show a "text link" in a box in your blog, when a reader clicks the "text" the like button will replace the "text" and the viewer will be able to like your page without leaving it.
