    Hello, im currently trying to add a side menu bar to my website(.com) I'm using a template provided by wordpress and was wondering if its possible to add a side menu bar to the right side of my website, thank you

    The blog I need help with is spiritualheritageeducationnetwork.wordpress.com.

  2. The blog linked to your username is a free hosted WordPress.com wearing the Matala theme and it has a right hand sidebar. When we first activate a theme a sidebar display appears but those aren't actually widgets. Simply go here > Appearance > Widgets and install the widgets of your choice. Then one at a time open them click "save" and "close". The main page in the support documents for sidebars and widgets. If you click any one of those links a page will open to display and description of them.

    Sorry, i ment left instead of right. Would i be able to add one on the left side?

  4. No. You need to select a theme with a left sidebar or a theme with multiple layouts. See here - under "One sidebar", "Two or three sidebars", "Sidebar(s) plus bottom and/or header":

    ok thanks. Another question, I wanted to include a "click here to visit our facebook page. I was going to put the logo for fb so when its clicked on, it would direct them to our fb page. How would i go about doing that? thanks again

  6. Upload the image via Media > Add New, copy the URL you'll get, then go to Appearance>Widgets, drag an Image widget to Sidebar, paste the URL of the image, paste the URL of your Facebook page, Save.

    Good evening. :)

    @spiritualheritageeducationnetwork
    1. You can post a Facebook badge in your sidebar lined to your FB profile. http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-badge/

    2. You can use the Facebook like box widget in your sidebar for your FB page too. > Appearance > Widgets

    3. You can also enable sharing buttons on your posts, pages and index pages.
    Also note the “like” button. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/

    4. You can have both Facebook like & share buttons on your posts.

    5. You can set up Publicize and publish to your Facebook profile page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

    6. Or you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls.
