   Hi,

   Good day to all the experts!

   I have tried many ways to add a sitemap into Google according to their instructions but each time it says I am not using the correct format .Can it be done in wordpress?

   It can be done in WordPress.com. See the thread below. I found the links provided by roadsofstone26 (timestamped June 1) in that thread to be especially helpful -- and in plain English!

   Oy, I miss the edit button -- while it is possible it is done through a workaround, hence the further links I provided.

   Hi ellaella,

   A big thank you for your reply. Many thanks to engtech for showing how it can be done, and to tigredefogo . I have submitted my sitemap using this simple method and hope this time it will work.

   I give up. I followed exactly from the instructions here and I dont know why.It dont work for me.
