How to add donation button to website?

    I went to paypal and have the code for my donation button.

    I go to the page editor and I click text, not visual.

    When I paste the code then click update the button isn't there and when I check the editor it has disappeared from the text box.

    Does anyone know how to solve this?

    I tried watching this video but it didn't help.

    In WordPress, once you add HTML, you want to stay on the HTML view of the page. For some reason, WordPress has their own little quirks between the pure HTML and their visual editor. Believe me, it is one of my greatest frustrations a website designer using WordPress.

    yea i didnt pay $100 to be limited. i think those refer to free wordpress websites

    Yeah, no.

    They refer to websites hosted by WordPress.com. If you want to be exempt from the terms of service of your web host, WP.com, you need to find a different web host.
