How to add guest editors to the bottom of a page.

  1. I am using this site to combine a few different projects. I have a hard time polishing the piece for grammar and spelling and am always trying to ensure that the intended visual is there.

However, there doesn't seem to be a way to add an individual spot for footnotes to add the "Editor assistance by" and "See X to view Y" which would be different for every page.

The blog I need help with is cagedsparrow.com.

  2. Footnotes per se are not built in to WordPress.com. I would just type it in at the bottom, or even in a comment.

  3. I don't want to take away from the actual writing and want to make sure that those who help receive the proper acknowledgment. If they have their own website, then link their name to their website.

I thought about adding a separate HTML tag at the bottom with a different/standard color but that doesn't work if the site formatting ever changes. Was hoping for a separate box that can be edited per-page and had central code. This would hopefully allow for simple alteration for site overhauls.

  4. And that does not exist at WordPress.com.

I just wanted to make sure. Thank You!
