How to add images to existing slideshow or gallery

  1. I can't figure out how to take a new image and add it to an existing slide show. Is there a way to "un-create" a slide show or gallery... so that I'm back to just all of the regular-sized images on the page (not thumbnails)? Then I could probably figure it out.

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is adamschuitema.wordpress.com.

  2. To add an image, just upload it to the post or page where the existing slideshow or gallery is.

To devolve to just images on a page, no slideshow or gallery, just remove the appropriate shortcodes, but then you have to insert each image one by one into the post/page.

  3. There is one other thing you can do with the Gallery; have you tried tinkering with the shortcode in the HTML editor to show [gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file"]? This will display all your Gallery images, one by one, at the full width available for your theme and linked to the image file. If you are concerned about image quality (and you should be) upload the image at the maximum available width for your theme.
