   I have posted post on my WordPress, and I had set Anonymous as an author. I wanted to change it to another name but it won't allow me to do so. I kept changing the author's name into what I want but it keeps me for hours. I had changed the name of the author on the post on my dashboard but it keeps the same author's name in my homepage or in my post.

   Here's the details.

   Posted under (name of the category) by Anonymous on (MM/D/YY). How can I change it? Can you please lead me to the right direction?

   The blog I need help with is jigoantonio.wordpress.com.

   From the other thread, you are talking about a self-hosted blog need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

   These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.

   all right. thanks for the help :)

   I had it edited under the theme. Issue is resolved.
