How to change content width Hatch theme?

  1. default is 940 pixels, I want 640 pixels. How to please? What CSS code?

    The blog I need help with is amazingsusan.com.

  2. the blog I need help with is:

    http://amazingsusansblog.wordpress.com/

    thanks :)

  3. Change the main column content for the Hatch theme, add this to your Appearance → Themes → Customize → CSS panel:

    #page {
    	max-width: 640px;
    }

    .blog .hentry, .archive .hentry {
    	width: 23%;
    	height: auto;
    }

    .blog .hentry .attachment-home-thumb,
    .archive .hentry .attachment-home-thumb {
    	width: 100%;
    	height: 111px;
    }

    The first rule changes the main container width, and the second two rules adjust the space for each article/image that appears on the homepage or archive pages.

    Doing this pushes the header area on single post below featured images, and it doesn't look the best, so to adjust it you can add something like this to make the heading and post meta appear full width on single posts:

    .single-post .entry-header {
    	float: none;
    	width: 100%;
    }
