How to change gallery ids to images URL?

  1. Hi!

    Help, please.

In my gallery I have code [gallery columns="3" ids="2,3,4"]

How to change ids to URL?

Something like this [gallery columns="4" ids="http://www.example.com/1.jpg,http://www.example.com/1.jpg,http://www.example.com/1.jpg"]

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is racerclub.wordpress.com.

  3. This is not how the Gallery shortcode works. It uses your image IDs to display them. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/

What is it you are trying to accomplish, please?

Also, what is the site you need help with? The one you've linked to doesn't have any content.

  4. I try to use animation effect of gallery, but with images which save on other web hosting.

    How I cat do it?

  5. *can

  6. but with images which save on other web hosting.

    How I can do it?

You can't. Featured images must be uploaded to your WordPress.com website in order to work. Same is true for images used in a Gallery http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/

It`s not for my free website on WordPress.com (I create it only for registration on this forums :-) ). I have other own website..

This is the WordPress.COM support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you need help with your website in the future do not post here. If don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  9. @racerclub- As tt said, these are the support forums for sites hosted by WordPress.com. Sites that are self-hosted using the WordPress software are supported in their own forums at the link that tt gave you.

If you had answered my question

Also, what is the site you need help with? The one you've linked to doesn't have any content.
you would have been directed to the correct support forum earlier.

    Best wishes.

  10. I thought WordPress.com and WordPress.org on one platform WP..
This could help when I do my site at WordPress.com.

    Any way, thanks.
