How to change the Footer wording?

  1. Please Help! I would like to change the wording on the footer of my site to read as follows.

    THIRTEENTH STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST . 3100 13TH STREET NW DC 20010.

    Thanks in advance.

    The blog I need help with is 13thstcoc.wordpress.com.

  2. You can add the wording to the footer but the Blog at WordPress.com & Theme credits must remain or you blog will be suspended

  3. Okay thanks, but how do I add the wording above?

  4. I don't do CSS but you are posted into the CSS forum so Panos or the staff should stop by today & help you - just wanted to make sure you understood the limits

    One other question, the text you want to add

    Do you want to add it above, below, before or after the existing footer? That will help the folks help you the first time

  5. If possible, centered and above the existing footer in "all caps".

  6. Thanks for your response and help auxclass. I'll wait to hear from Panos or the staff.

  7. Hi there, add the following CSS and see what you think. Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all of the informational text in the CSS edit window and paste in the following.

    #footer .wrap:before {
        text-align: center;
        content: "THIRTEENTH STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST . 3100 13TH STREET NW DC 20010.";
        font-weight: bold;
    }
    .credit {
        font-weight: normal;
    }
  8. Much love sacredpath, that worked great. Thanks!

  9. You be welcome
