I need to write a link to teamspeak://62.146.116.194:8767 that is a shortcut to open the teamspeak, it just dont work, how to make this work ?

I for one can't post links that launch a podcast in iTunes (itpc://example.com). WP.com seems to strip many protocols from links. With the protocol working in the forums you found quite an inconsistency across Automattics products ;-)

For the fun of it: let's see if a podcast link works without brackets:
itpc://example.com/podcast.xml -
No protocols but http(s) are allowed. Not even skype.

Actually they allow other protocols such as ftp:// and mailto: We had a fairly lengthly discussion on the topic eons ago. We never got an official answer out of staff on the topic but the general thought on the subject was that only protocols allowed by either the 4.01 html or xml 1.0 were allowed. skype and others which are covered by extensions were not allowed and were stripped.
