How to create a page with no parent that DOES NOT appear as a tab

  1. I am using the theme Twenty Ten and would like to know how (or if) I can create a page (not a post) that does not reference a parent page AND that does not appear as a tab (like other pages with no parent)?

Here's what I'm trying to do:

My blog is at http://thussaidthelord.com. If you hover your mouse over the tab <What the Bible Really Says!>, the drop down contains too many entries. I would like to collect them into sub-categories so that when the user clicks on the sub-category, s/he is taken to a page with all of the links pertaining to that category. Each link, of course, would point to a page that does not have a parent page but does not appear as a menu tab.

    Thanks in advance,

    Michael

The blog I need help with is thussaidthelord.com.

  2. The blog you specified at thussaidthelord.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.
