First, you'll need a page for the blog.
You have set the same page as both your front page and your blog page.
You you have the blog to be the front page, select "Your latest posts" at Settings -> Reading in your Dashboard.
Then, you can display summaries instead of full posts on the front page by slitting the post with a More tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
