I have a WordPress.com (not .org) blog and want to customise the text that subscribers receive in the 'Confirmed Subscription to Posts' email template. Although I can amend the invitation email text under Settings>Reading>Email Settings there doesn't appear to be any way to amend other emails.
Does anyone know if there is a way to customise this text?
I believe that the confirmation email is sent only once, so what "other emails" are you referring to?
The Invitation Text field has the following so I assume it is an introductory/invite email:
"...This is an automated message sent by the WordPress.com subscription service about subscribing and receiving email updates from the following website:..."
As opposed to the confirmation email with a subject line:
"[Subscribe] Confirmed Subscription to Posts on..."
And a body as follows:
"Subscribed!
Congratulations, you are now subscribed to Barclays Wealth Economics and will receive an email notification when a new post is made.

You can change the delivery frequency by visiting your subscription dashboard. You can have emails sent when they are published, or aggregated and sent once a day or once a week.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by following one of these options:
· Click on the one click unsubscribe at the bottom of every email
· Visit your subscription dashboard and unsubscribe from there

Apparently you can't change the text in that confirmation email, at least not presently. Certainly you can suggest it to Staff via the Support contact form. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
