I exported my tumblr blog to my wordpress and all the post appeared under uncategorized and I'll like to delete the posts and they are over a thousand and screen options wont work for it ? Help please

It can really be a pain deleting a lot of posts. Thankfully there's bulk edit here on WordPress.
Go to:
Dashboard> Posts
Then if you want to delete all the posts under "uncategorized", click that drop-down menu "view all categories" and select "uncategorized". Click "Filter"
Tick the box on the right side of "Title" so that all the boxes for each titles have checks.
Bulk action > Move to trash> Apply.
1000 won't work for screen options but 999 do so you can do it 999 at a time. :)

I just tried the screen option but the uncartegorized category won't bulge sadly ... :( . I don't know if I should sign out and redo it. ... Like I've been trying

You don't have to open the screen option to find the "uncategorized" category. It's there inside that drop-down that is encircled. :)
