How to edit the top menu in Twenty Eleven

    Hi,

    Im pretty new to wordpress and have been playing around with the Twenty Eleven theme.
    What I would like to change is the background colour of the bar, if its possible (which is black by default), but most importantly the menu, I want to add a few links next to "Home".

    I tried out the menus and navigation configs but didn't quite get that to work.

    I figured out how to add links, but still trying to change the colour of the bar!

    I'd love to change the menu bar color as well for this theme, but I don't think you can. Hopefully someone has a way!

    Hello there,

    To change the background color of the top navigation in the Twenty Eleven theme, add this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page:

    #access {
    background: darkred;
}

    Adjust the color as necessary.

    There are a number of other color changes you can make to that menu including the hover color for each menu item as well as the font color and hover color. If you need help with those, let us know.
