How to edit topic in the sidebar?

  1. I have the following blog:
    http://tortoisesshell.wordpress.com/
As you can see there are blank sections in the sidebar. I want to know how to get rid of those and add some of my own.

The blog I need help with is tortoisesshell.wordpress.com.

  2. The widgets refelect data that automatically updates. Unless and until you publish Pages, and Posts and assign tags and categories to the later the widgets have no data to display.

  3. If you wish to change the widgets know that each theme has a default display of widgets. When you go here > Dashboard > > Appearance > Widgets and move a single widget your choice will override that default. Proceed to select which ones you wish to display in advance and then drag them out of the Available widgets box and drop them into the sidebar box. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/09/28/the-no-widgets-paradox/
