How to eliminate: "Category Archives" from entry heading

  1. I have created 7 menu tabs on my blog. When I click on any one of them, I want the title at the top of the blog entries to simply mirror the name of the tab. For example when you click on "Books" you would see at the top of the blogs (under the masthead), "Books", and then the first entry immediately under. Instead what you see now is "Category Archives: Books". How does one eliminate the first two words, "Categroy Archives:"

The blog I need help with is alexanderatkinsdesign.wordpress.com.

  2. This is the result of clicking you username:

    worldofideasaad.wordpress.com is no longer available.

The authors have deleted this blog.

Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question.

  3. Very strange. Here is what should have been linked:
    http://alexanderatkinsdesign.wordpress.com/category/home/

  4. Your username links to http://worldofideasaad.wordpress.com . You need to correct that (Users > Personal Settings: scroll down to Account Details, paste blog URL in the Website field, click Save Changes).

You can't remove the category page headings unless you have the paid Custom Design upgrade and experience in CSS editing. If you would consider switching to a different theme, here's the list of what appears in each theme:
