How to get my WordPress blog to show in the WordPress reader.

  1. Hi,

I created a wordpress blog at http://www.moneyahoy.com a couple of months back. I just recently found out about the wordpress reader for wordpress.com.

How can I get my posts to show up there? At first I thought it was just for WordPress.com blogs, but I see many articles there tagged that seem to be WordPress.org blogs (separate from WordPress.com).

Is this a stupid question, or is there a way to get it to work? I've messed with everything I could think of for more than a hour, and I'm stumped.

    -Thanks!

  2. You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It'll help people to answer your question.

    This is an automated message.

  3. or is there a way to get it to work?

No way for you to be added to the tags and such - only for WordPress.COM blogs -

but I could subscribe to your blog if I wanted to with my reader, (I don't want to)

And if you have the bright idea of setting up a blog here to send traffic to your not eligible blog - that is against the Terms of service and the blog would be suspended

  4. You can have a domain name and still be on WordPress.com, that is, not selfhosted. Could that be what is confusing you when you see blogs in the reader?

  5. Basically, your blog is against the terms of service here. You can't even import it here.
