How to get the username for a blog that already exists

    I am trying to get the newsoftheday2 username to use for newsoftheday2.wordpress.com. I am using chayes19 as the username for newsoftheday2.wordpress.com at the moment

    The blog I need help with is newsoftheday2.wordpress.com.

    You would have to sign up for a new account (without a blog) with that username and then add that new user as an administrator on the blog.

    I tried doing that and got a Sorry, that username already exists error as shown in the included screenshot.

    If someone else is using it, you can't have it. Pick another name.

    I have the blog that goes with the username (but I am using a different username with the blog)

    If the system says the username exists than the username exists and there is no way you can have it. Period.
