How to have the gallery mosaic and full-width posts

  1. Hi,

I just purchased the custom upgrade for my wordpress.com blog. I wanted the posts on the front page to be full-width (with no right sidebar), but when I did that, my gallery mosaic function I had on some posts stopped working. Is it not possible to have both? Also, is there a way to increase the width of the left side bar? Thanks.

The blog I need help with is thecultureur.com.

  2. I think you should be able to do both. If you take away the CSS edits temporarily and save, do the galleries look right? Also, is your limit width setting on your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page correct? You should update the limit width to match the column width if you change that using CSS.

If you're still having trouble, can you post a link to where we can see the problem with tiled galleries happening?

  3. Hi,

I took away the full post width CSS edits and changed the limit width from 640 back to 470, and the mosaic gallery came back. I wanted to have the width of the posts cover the width of the page as much as possible. Can I not do that with the mosaic gallery? You can check one of the posts where the mosaic gallery is working: http://thecultureur.com/2012/10/10/autumn-in-new-york-city/

Also, any way to make the left sidebar wider?

    Thanks.

  4. Thanks for the link. Please try updating the limit width to 637 on your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page.

  5. Great photos btw! NYC looks gorgeous. I love Fall.
