   Hi

   The reading setting allows me to adjust the number of posts on the published page.

   I would like to see more posts on my EDIT page and also collapse them without the categories/tags taking up space.

   Is it possible or am I just limited to 15?

   You can turn off the display of tags and categories on the edit post page by clicking on the "screen options" tab at upper right next to the help tab. You cannot however change the number of posts shown per page.
