When I insert a picture either from a direct upload or from my media library, it always inserts at the very top of the page or post and not where I have inserted the cursor in the body of the text.
The blog I need help with is oopsjohn.wordpress.com.
PS - I have been doing this over a year and never had a problem until today. Perhaps the new file uploader dialogue box is acting up? This is very frustrating as I basically can not post anything right now.

We've been receiving reports of this. Right now it appears that the solution is to upgrade to Firefox 17 from FF16. Could you please try that and see if your problem resolves? If not, please let me know and we'll continue to work on it!
Thank you for your response. I will certainly try that and get back to you. In the meantime please know that I discovered that everything works properly IF I am in html viewing mode, just not in the visual mode.

Thanks for letting us know that! It's definitely good to know of any available workarounds.
Last night the internal team deployed a fix that should take care of this, in any regard. You may need to clear your cache to see the updates.
