How to insert AlertPay referral links?

  1. Can someone help me? Each time I try to preview my post (my alertpay referral link to be precise), I always get the what type of blog page. why? and how can i insert it?

The blog I need help with is jonathanleslie.wordpress.com.

  2. When that happens, you are inserting a link that is against the ToS here. Read the "Types of Blogs" document that is being inserted into your posts.

User advertising is, except for a couple very narrow exceptions, not allowed on wordpress.COM. For the exceptions, see the last sentence under "Affiliate marketing blogs" in the bottom set of bullet points in the "types of blogs" document.

  3. oh.. thanks. I just read the whole document. AlertPay is not mlm or anything near it, its just like PayPal. I wonder if it's ok if i just leave it there and just instruct my readers to copy and paste to their browser. what do you think?

  4. I think your blog may be suspended if you do that. The reason it's redirecting is, staff have put you on notice.

  5. well, what do you guys suggest if it were you? im no expert..

  6. First off, we need a link to the site you are talking about since the one linked to your username has been deleted.

What exactly are you trying to do with alertpay?

  7. linked to my username? i haven't posted it yet.

    Thanks

  8. This is the link that is connected to your username: http://jsgroupws.wordpress.com/ . That site has been deleted.

We need a link to your wordpress site.

  9. oh sorry, i didn't change the which blog need help.. it was suppose to be here
    http://myownincome4life.wordpress.com

    Thanks

  10. I'm actually trying to do a how-to-tutorial on how to open a new AlertPay account, that's when I came across this problem. Tq again.

  11. You should be able to do a non-affiliate link to Alertpay, but not an affiliate link. That's the issue.

  12. Aw.. that's too bad... maybe I'll just use a link rotator like TETool Box ... if that can't be used, then I'm afraid I'll have to use other blog platforms

  13. Affiliate links are generally banned here. If they're important to your site, you will have to find a different host.

  14. I heard something about installing wordpress on my own site.. how is it done, and does it solve the issue?

  15. You need to get hosting from a web host, and lots of them offer one-button installs of WordPress.org software. Then you can do what you want with it.

  16. I'm new to WordPress and I would like to know if there are any rules against adding advertising ads like ADSENSE or AMAZON to your blog. I have another blog that I carry these post on to make money and need to know what the rules are for WordPress. Thanks

  17. Yes, there are. Blogger-initiated advertising of any kind is banned here. The ONLY option is to get a blog of 20,000 hits or more a month and then ask to be considered for the Ad Control program, where you split ad revenue with WordPress.com itself, 50/50.

  18. I have a web host from GoDaddy.
Can I move whatever i have from my current wordpress to the one i install on GoDaddy?
