How to insert an extra line

  1. I haven't been able to add an extra line in my post by 'normal' means till now,
    ie. by 'entering' or adding
    in HTML.

However, I have managed to force HTML to create an extra line by adding:
    <p> </p>

I don't know why I am having this problem but it could be related to the theme I am using which is Mistylook (by Sadish).

I just wanted to share this info because I have been having enough probs with it till now, and there might be others with the same prob.

  2. Oops, the HTML codes didn't show up in my post above.

    ie. by 'entering' or adding
    in HTML.

    should read...

ie. by 'entering' or adding <br /> in HTML.

    AND

    <p> </p>

    should read...

    <p> </p>

  3. Uh-huh. That's just how WP.com works. It doesn't like it when people try to add extra spaces, and they have to resort to tricks like that or putting periods in and changing them to the background colour.
