How to locate the registrar of my worpdress supplied domain

    I bought my domain from wordpress and need to know the domain registrar to setup my mail using google apps. I cant seem to find anything on my dashboard. I tried using a whois domain tool but it returns this. "Registered through: Automattic".

    How can I find my registrar to activate my google apps?

    The blog I need help with is bookmarkingbookstores.com.

    Please note that WordPress.com does not provide support for Google services other than its initial setup with the custom domain upgrade. You can refer to their support documentation for help on how to use Google Apps Email service. http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/business/support.html

    Thanks timethief, i just cant get google apps to be setup with my domain, i've given up. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Macmanx, Thanks for your response,

    I've followed the steps, in google apps when i setup gmail, i am asked to "Switch MX records at your domain host".

    I've logged into the domain manager from the dashboard, i go to change nameserver and i encounter 3 options,

    I want to park my domains.
    I have a hosting account with these domains.
    I have specific nameservers for my domains.

    Am I doing the right thing and what do i do next?

    MX records are not nameservers.

    You'll need to change the nameservers back to ours.

    As instructed in the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/ you will enter the MX records in your Custom DNS panel: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/
