I want to shorten the paragraphs displayed in my Blogshomepage but i dont know how.
When I have a POST all the contents in that post will display. I only want to display max of 100 characters in my Homepage per BLOG
Some blogs that i visited have "Continue Reading..." text.... I want to know how to do this.

Sure. This is the link to the support documentation htt://en.support.wordpress.com and as you will be using it often I suggest bookmarking it. And this is the link you want for splitting content by inserting "the read more" tag into each post you create and publish. Do be careful not to insert it into a block of text in blockquotes.
