how to not have main blog address show up

  1. How do I have my main blog site address not show up on another blog I've created.

The blog I need help with is johnlvs2run.wordpress.com.

  2. I found it.

users > your profile > contact info > website (at bottom of page)

  3. The unique identifier is the email address we use to create an account with and/or register a blog with. If you were logged into your wordpress.com account and then added a second blog it will appear on the dropdown menu on your Dashboard of the first blog but the readers cannot see it, only you can.

If the two blogs are currently under the same account and email address, and you wish you can create another account under another email address and then do a transfer of the blog. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#toc

  4. Timethief,
thanks much for your helpful reply.

If you were logged into your wordpress.com account and then added a second blog it will appear on the dropdown menu on your Dashboard of the first blog but the readers cannot see it, only you can.

    That setup is confusing.
Wordpress should indicate that the email addres won't show up.

Also I tried to change my nickname for a new blog, but then it shows up the same on the other blog. :-(
I wish we could make a nickname unique to each blog.

  5. To make a nickname unique to each blog, you need to have an email unique to each blog.

  6. For example for each account:
    [email redacted]
    [email redacted]
    [email redacted]
    [email redacted]/.com.org…

  7. WordPress should indicate that the email addres won't show up.

WordPress.com considers your email address to be "private" information. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

  8. thank you tess - thank you timethief

  9. You're welcome. :)

  10. run run run!
    glad it works
