how to post a vimeo video on blog

    They look cleaner instead of youtube vids for some reason..how do i ost them??

    The blog I need help with is ra64freddy.wordpress.com.

    Or:

    Use Vod:Pod. You'll need to install the Vod:pod button on your pc and get yourself a profile on Vodpod's site. Then you can post all kinds of videos on your blog. In posts as well as in widgets. Other kinds of embeds have been disabled on WordPress blogs but on other blogger platforms and websites you can embed documents, games etc. using Vodpod.

    That only works if he's hosted here. About 50% of the threads I've seen today were started by people in the wrong forum.

    all you have to do is take the numbers in the url and write the short code like this in the HTML view of your editor NO vod pod required

    As you can see the numbers at the end of the URL you need just the numbers in the short code like this,

    http://vimeo.com/5763346

    Here is how the Short code looks

    [vimeo5763346]

    When you publish or update a post the video should show up.

    Put a space between the vimeo and the number as below

    [vimeo 5763346]
