How to prevent unnecessary updating messages?

    I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the technical terms needed to ask this question. I barely understand what I am asking.
    A friend of mine said that my blog keeps sending "updated" messages even though I have not updated the blog (I have not even visited my blog).
    How do I prevent this from happening?

    How are these being sent? Feed? Email through some update links?
    What is in the messages?

    I am not sure. I think it's probably feed. I will check and come back later.

    What is in the messages? Kind of information that telling your friend somebody has commented on your blog and/or waiting for moderation? If so, looks like your friend is one of the users of your blog. Then, you have to go to your Dashboar - Discussion and uncheck moderation options.
