Hello everyone! I'm currently using the Modern News theme (awesome BTW).
I'm customizing my blog. It's http://www.cinelipsis.com. In the theme options I selected "Display post excerpts".
What I want to do is the following:
I want to add a featured image. Done it.
I want to add a little caption so that the visitors can see the featured image and this little caption.
They should open the post and see the post. But the only way I was able to add the caption was to write it in the post and then put the "read more" button. What I don't like is that the visitors can see THAT little caption on the beginning of the post. And this is a movie review site and having that caption appear in top of the posters is very ugly.
SO the question is: how can I caption the featured image without using the post? It's not a caption per se. It's not a description. It's just a few lines of text beside the picture.
if such thing is impossible and I have to use the post textbox, how can I erase it once the visitor opens the post?
Thanks everyone! WP rocks!
The blog I need help with is cinelipsis.com.
