How to put adsense and other advertisers?

  1. Hi! I have a website, http://www.dailytechtimes.com and I just bought for a domain in WordPress on June 4, this year.

Now, I am using Oxygen theme. I want to put advertisers on slidebars but everytime I use text widget, and clicked save, the codes disappears. I read some supports from wordpress and it says they do not allow Java scripts (Not a problem at all). Now, I search for plugins and I have downloaded wp-deluxe wp plugin.

My problem is, I DO NOT HAVE PLUG-IN MENU on my dashboard, how would I install the plug-in when in the first place I do not have plug-iin menu on my dashboard?

    Hope for an immediate reply!

The blog I need help with is dailytechtimes.com.

  2. We do have an advertising program called WordAds, which you read more about at http://wordads.co/

Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:
    http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/
    http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/

If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.

Please see this link to learn about the differences:
    http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested:
    http://get.wp.com/hosting/

As for plugins, we don't allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org. You can find out more about this topic here: http://support.wordpress.com/plugins/

However, we do have several built-in features that were inspired by many popular plugins. You might find what you want by searching for it at http://en.support.wordpress.com/

  3. So, how to transfer to wordpress.org? How much for a domain?

  4. All support for WordPress.org installs is provided here http://wordpress.org/support/ and you will have to regsiter a username account on the top right hans corner of that page. Here are the instructions for moving your blog content into a WordPress.org install after your hire a web host, purchase a domain, set up a WordPress.org install, install a theme and plugins. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

  5. I bought my domain in wordpress.com, that means, I have to refund it and buy new one in wordpress.org?

  6. No. Once you have set up your WordPress.org install you can use the domain on it. If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

  7. You really need to read the Terms of Service
