How to reclaim deleted blog?

  1. I wanted to use an address under a different account so I went to rename the blog from fionntyx.wordpress.com to meow9991meow2.wordpress.com and wanted re-register it under the new account but I didn't know after you rename(delete in this case) a blog you cannot reuse the address. And yes I checked the option for "if you want to reuse this address don't check this box" because I wanted to use it from another account.

The blog I need help with is meow9991meow2.wordpress.com.

  2. Unfortunately it has been gone forever. You can not reuse that blog ever.

You should have transferred that blog from old to new account instead of deleting/reregistering it.

  3. You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

  4. And yes I checked the option for "if you want to reuse this address don't check this box" because I wanted to use it from another account.

That's odd. I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  5. What's the username you wanted to move the 'meow9991meow2' blog to?

  6. To [e-mail removed].

But i want the domain "fionntyx.wordpress.com" instead of the meow9991meow2.wordpress.com.

    Thanks in advance!

  7. The blog has been moved to that user.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

  8. It seems something went wrong, I wasn't able to find an account under that e-mail address. What's the username?

  9. The username is Realfionntyx.

    Thank you Kardotim!

  10. The blog has been moved as requested.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.
