How to remove a post category from homepage?

  1. Hi,

Can I make a category of posts not appear on the homepage?

On my homepage, the idea is to have only 2 "news post" (sticky), then a lot of "profiles posts" under the news.

Now, let's say I want to replace the news that appear on the homepage. Can I switch its category to "Old News", and them make the "Old News" not visible on the homepage? They would be accessible only via an archive menu.

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is philophobie.com.
