How to remove the shadow-box from images in the lovebirds theme

  • Hi!

I’m using the LoveBirds theme, and I don’t want the “shadow-box” that comes at the right bottom on my pictures, since I don’t like it to much.
Have tried to find out how to remove it, but nothing works.

When I go to my custom design and press on CSS, I get a Stylesheet editor instead of the full information in the CSS (maybe to make it easier, but I don’t know what kind of code to use).

Can anyone help me? Then I would be ever so grateful.

  • As best I can tell, those shadow effects are part of the image itself, not a CSS attribute.

  • No, there is no shadow on the images.. it comes when they have been post.

  • zandyring is correct, here is an example of an image with borders, shadows and taped corners all saved directly in the image:

I got that example from one of the first images I found when looking at your blog home page just now. If you were referring to a different image, please post a link to the image so we can take a closer look.

If the example I linked is one of the images you’re referring to, then you will need to upload a modified image that doesn’t contain the shadow in order to get rid of it.

  • I found the problem.

I’m using the Windows Live Writer to publish my blog (makes it easier for me) and the program itself are adding the shadows. But found out how to remove it.

But thanks for the help :)

  • Can anyone tell me how I remove the vine and the hearts from Lovebirds? It is a nice, classy theme, I just don’t want those bits.
