How to renew expired registration of my wordpress domain (not just mapping)?

    My domain which I registered with wordress expired on July 31. Unfort I waited to renew until after it expired. It still showed up under my domains tho. The only prompt I could find was $13.00 to renew mapping. I could not find an option to re-register the domain name. Seems like this is a common issue in the forums that WP needs to address a solution to. So now my domain is in limbo and after paying $13.00 dollars i'm unsure what its status is with no remedy in sight. My domain of joshuawaite.com still shows on my dashboard in 'domains' as current, but under 'upgrades' as expired. I've messaged Support but recieved no answer. I guess my site is mapped but not renewed. Please help. P.S. What did I miss?

    I have refunded the mapping charge, since that won't be useful without the domain itself.

    joshuawaite.com expired on July 31 and has entered the redemption period.

    I have sent an email with further details to the address on your account. Please reply via email when convenient.

    I have the same problem, I can't renew and I just had the mapping option so I paid it. What can I do? mex-pot.com

    mex-pot.com expired on June 2 and was returned to the public market. You can re-register it by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog's Dashboard.

    I have refunded the mapping charge.
