How to share with my Facebook business profile

  1. I'm not sure if this is a WP issue entirely but I was prompted to share after publishing a post and when I clicked on the Facebook link to connect my WP blog to FB, it seemed my posts would show up on my dummy profile on FB and not on my business profile on FB. Any way to get WP to share with the correct profile? I only have one login for FB and that takes me to my dummy personal profile page. Dummy because I don't use it nor wish to.

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is brazte.ch.

  2. I think I found a temporary solution thanks to user timethief in a recent WP Support thread.

"It is possibel to post the URLs and snippets directly using another means while waiting for Staff to fix this problem.

You could log into Facebook and go to your fan page. Then click on the edit page button below the pic box in the top left corner. Scroll down to the Facebook applications and look for notes and click edit. Then click on the import blog and put in your info. It’s the exact same as doing it for your personal profile, just under the fan page editing area."

  3. Only now I see this message on FB (though I tried both vanity url and WP url)

    "Import Failed
We couldn't find a feed using the URL you provided."

  4. This is the URL for the feed for the blog linked to your username http://eyesonbrazil.com/feed/ Is that the URL you used or not?

  5. Hi,

I went into the Notes section of FB and in the field for importing one's website, I entered both http://brazte.ch and http://braztech.wordpress.com but to no avail

  6. Is it possible to syncronize WP with FB?

  7. Yes. Under Settings/Sharing

  8. If you folks are having trouble then do note that you are not alone. There are other active threads on this forum on the same topic. Every time facebook changes something we get scads of people posting. All I can suggest is that you contact Staff http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
