How to stop pingbacks from quoting my tagline?

    How can I keep pingbacks to my blog from quoting my tagline as well as my title? (My theme is INove). thanks

    The blog I need help with is seventhtype.wordpress.com.

    This blogger posted a pingback to me, and on his blog it quotes blog title, tagline, and byline:

    http://kilroysdelaware.wordpress.com/2012/01/26/pencader-student-shot-dead-after-facebook-feud/

    I suppose it is my blog profile that is supplying the text for the pingback. I just want it to show the title, not the tagline or byline.

    Worst case is I have to turn off the byline, delete the tagline, and replace with a graphic banner. I'm looking for a setting to control the pingback string instead.
