You can only upload mp3s if you have the space upgrade. http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/10/18/about-the-space-upgrade/ Not sure if it gives you an RSS feed, though.

Interesting. I've been hearing other podcasters making it sound like Word Press' big announcement about more storage space allotment (which is great news for podcasting) was a free deal. I'm broke and bummed.

It is free, but it just doesn't change what you can upload in your free space.

Feedburner doesn't host mp3 files for free either do they?

I used Studio.odeo and Archive.org, but I believe you can also use Box.net.
