How to upload the theme that we download from internet?

Can anyone help me? i would like to use the theme/template for wordpress that i’ve found in the internet. They ask me to download the theme then extract it. but they didn’t teach how to upload the theme to our page. I already tried to find where i should upload these theme in my wordpress. However, i still couldn’t find any. I’m lost. I’m still new in wordpress. I hope that anyone can help me. thanks. ;]
