Any word on when WordPress.com will switch over to HTML5?
Everyone has already done it... Google (all of G's products), Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo, even parts of Wikipedia.
Does WordPress not want to switch over to HTML5 because it will take a toll on their features revenue?

Most all themes here have already been converted over to HTML5 and the doctypes are all HTML5. As far as supporting user HTML5, no one knows when that will happen, or if.
What exactly are you wanting to see implemented?
