I need to show my child pages from the parent page. It shows in the dashboard that the pages are correctly linked, but then when I look at the actual pages, I can't find the children pages anywhere. Can someone help pls?

The blog I need help with is katermiller.wordpress.com.

  2. re: Pages order

    There are two approaches.
    1. If you have only pages in your horizontal menu and that' is all you want in it see here to use numerical order. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/#order

    2. Custom menu Troubleshooting – My pages are in the wrong order
Check the sub-pages themselves to see if you have established a Parent page and child page “hierarchical structure” in the page attributes module. Remove if required.

Also remove any “order” numbers you have assigned that may conflict with the order you are creating by dropping and dragging. Or simply change them so they are the same order as you establish in the menu. Establish consistency – problem solved.

  3. 1. You can arrange your pages in hierarchies.

Note that not every theme provides dropdowns from Pages to sub-pages natively. However, creating a cusom menu means that's possible on any theme.

It still will not allow me to access the sub pages from the parent page. I changed the page attributes to link it to the correct parent page. Not sure what to put under the template. But when I scroll over the parent page link on the home page, i want it to drop down a list of the several child pages for any parent pages. Is that something I can do?
Here is a sample website I am trying to emulate http://bahzeal.com/. I like how his has drop downs when you scroll over his tab of MLS Program and MLS Artifacts. I hope that makes more sense. Thanks time thief.

  5. You can do that. Create a cusom menu and do exactly what I stated above.

Got it now thanks!! Appreciate it.

I am also having troubles with one of my pages showing correctly but then when I view page, it shows stuff about a blog roll. Nothing to do with my site. And it doesn't show the text that shows in the dashboard on that page. It showed before, but messed up when I did the custom menu.
