Need help? Check out our Support site, then

I am seeing different banners on pages

  1. There is an old banner on the home page and the three inner pages only have the new banners. It stays that way even when I try to change themes. right now I am using Chateau.

The blog I need help with is seniorsconnect.wordpress.com.

  2. Since Pages can have their own header/banner, uploaded as a featured image, how did you add the headers to the pages other than the home page?

  3. I only went to Appearance/Header and uploaded the one. The old one stayed on the home page, the new one appeared on the other pages.

My understanding was that you could only have one banner for the whole site.

  4. Are you the same person? (seniorsconnect/sharonej)

I only went to Appearance/Header and uploaded the one. The old one stayed on the home page, the new one appeared on the other pages.

Since the "old one" isn't Chateau's default header image, then where did it come from? What image and settings do you see currently on the Appearance/Header dashboard?

My understanding was that you could only have one banner for the whole site.

No, I explained above that when creating a Page, you can add a Page-specific header by uploading an image as a featured image. Chateau supports this.

  5. Yup, I am the same person. sorry for the confusion. I had signed in under her account initially. Now I see what to do, thank you very much, Jennifer.
