I tried to set up my domain http://www.jeffgatesband.com to automatically redirect to my blog site. I followed the directions from both WordPress and GoDaddy. Now I cannot access either the blog or the webpage. Can you please give me some pointers as to where I may have gone wrong in the set-up?

I'm sorry, it seems that your nameserver records are not pointing to the correct addresses. You can go to Upgrades > Domains on your blog's dashboard and follow the steps there.
Please also make sure you follow the steps in this guide carefully
