Need help? Check out our Support site, then

I cannot access the page or wp-admin due to a parse error.

  1. I am receiving a parse error accessing the site or admin page. Nothing was modified other than content on the page.

    Please help.

The blog I need help with is www.cuinc.ca.

  2. The error received is Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/content/42/8853542/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4448

  3. Can anyone help? I cannot even access my dashboard as it gives the same error.

I have attempted the upgrade to get the "Priority customer support", but only live chat is available *through the dashboard*. Since I cannot access the dashboard I really need some assistance on this.

    Thank you

  4. Hi there,
This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  5. Timethief,

Thank you for the reply. Why is it that I access my account through WordPress.com if it is a WordPress.ORG hosted account?

  6. cuinc.ca is hosted by GoDaddy.com
    Name Servers:
    ns2.bdm.microsoftonline.com
    ns3.bdm.microsoftonline.com
    ns4.bdm.microsoftonline.com
    ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com

WordPress.ORG does not host accounts. They provide software and peer support forums only. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
