I can't delete a blog from my blog surfer list.

    I can't seem to delete a blog from my blog surfer list. I have tried to delete the X from the blog list. It just won't delete the blog. Am I doing something wrong?

    Somebody else had this problem a couple days ago. I was able to remove the X but it took 4 or 5 clicks before it was removed and I got the confirmation message.

    It is a Beta feature so if several clicks won't remove it, why not send some feedback to support by using the tab in the upper right of your browser.

    I am having the same problem since last Friday. I've contacted support, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

    I just received a reply from Mark. He said to check Frequently Asked Questions. I did that. I will let you know what his response back to me is.

    I too can't remove a blog from my blog surfer list. I will try several clicks and see if this works.

    Mark at support got back to me again. He suggested that I try another browser like firefox. I haven't dowloaded it yet, haven't got the time right now, but wanted to let everyone know that this may be the problem.

    I have firefox and I am unable to delete from the blog surfer list as well.

    I will download Firefox this weeken. If it doesn't work, I will scream and Mark will get another email. Stay tuned......

    It's not a browser problem because I use Firefox at work on a PC and at home on a Mac. It's been two weeks now and cannot delete blogs from blogsurfer.

    I looked at the source code and I think the problem is in the "quick delete" code.
    There are extraneous spaces between closes in several places i.e.;

    value='X' type='submit' class='quickdelete' title='Remove from your contacts (list' />)

    I have been having this problem for the last 2 weeks at least. I have firefox so clearly it's a technical glitch. I guess I will write to support too. Thanks.

    The issue appears to be with the toggle function in the page coding. If you delete from the top of the list it works. If you try to delete from elsewhere in the list the deletion fails.

    I give up. I thought it was the toggle javascript but I'm not so sure now. I was able to delete 2 blogs and then I was unable to delete. I tried it on IE Explorer as well and it did not work there. I will try Opera next. If it is a Java problem perhaps the script needs changing?

    Reverting to Java 1.4.2 and 1.5 did nothing to alleviate the problem. I am also unable to delete with Opera. Time to just sit back and await the resolution.

    I have had this problem for over two weeks now and have done everything the same, it is the problem that is new.

    I heard from support and they stated that it was an internal problem and they were working on it. That was almost a week ago. I guess I will go back in and try to get a status.

    I emailed support and yesterday they responded. They did not have a "guesstimate" as to when this problem will be resolved. They are still working on it.

    Or low priority. Keeping the system up and running may be keeping them busy.

    Have patience. My motto is if I'm not paying for it I'm not complaining. WordPress is in my opinion one of the very best blogging tools available. I even installed it on my own web server. Maintaining software in itself can be a pretty full-time job and when you are developing new features it makes it even harder. My hats off to the WordPress developers and keep up the great work!

    I like your motto rwarczak! I believe patience is my name and waiting is the game! No complaints here! Definitely not a top priority in my book! WordPress Rocks!

    Yes, I do think it's low priority. I believe they have bigger and better problems than this. I will chec from time to time to see if I can delete blogs from my blog surfer. When I can do that...it will be fixed.
